I figured as much, I remember when i first started Guild Wars, i got bored fast and quit for a couple of months, after that i found a great guild and was hooked on the game.

Have a little catching up to do first in AoC though, the last part of my new PC hasn't been delivered yet ><

So... any idea on when buddy keys are handed out? I should have my new PC all delivered and pieced together by the end of the week. Would really love to try this out. Has there been an official announcement? Last I heard, it was something along the lines of "soon."

I get the impression you only follow the main storyline in MMO's - skipping sidequests & exploring. So it wouldn't surprise me that you ran out of content.

everytime i load up my character my computer restarts i get a wrong version error and my character and the game freezes someone help.

Reinstall the game.

The game files corrupt very easilly. if your PC ever crashes while the game is running or loading, say bye bye to your installation. It wont work again untill you re install.

This is very frustrating, particularly when I was currently playing around with overclocking my system. If I clocked something too high and my system crashed, I had to reinstall.

You might want to check your OS and make sure you have all the patches and are up to date. Also when is the last time you defraged your system?

I've yet to have any errors or kick outs. Then again I'm running a very new clean system.

Errr.. no idea, i didn't have any problems with my installation. I guess, try re-installing 1 more time - if that doesn't work, contact support or something?

Leeds it's not the installation that is the problem it's something else on your computer. Perhaps you need to clean up your system.

Must admit, I'm having a blast. Levelling is a bit damn fast though... It took me months to get my Pally to 70 in WoW and my ToS is lvl34 after less than a week...

Earth was right, I think a lot of people might find ToS boring, at present I have 2 ranged offence, one PBAoE, 2 HoT and one flash heal.. but there's some nice buffs and she sure is durable.

Me and the hubby have been playing pretty much exclusively just duoing all the content and had little trouble, even taking down 'elite'* mobs. I just soloed one lvl 37 'elite' without any real hassle.

* just using that term as they're close to what that would cover in WoW.

I remain convinced that now I've seen a persistent world that combines solo instancing and multiplayer instancing that GW2 is going to rock my socks off.

Only bad players can't play the game at their own pace. The PvP servers are far from the gankfest people make them out to be (well, Battlescar atleast is no gankfest).

I have no problems completing quests. Some sucker is killing my mobs? I gank him. That leaves me to quest freely. Not many players seem to have the same KoS mindset that i do, as PvP XP isn't in yet - thus, no rewards.. so alot of the time i'll see people skipping past each other, waving as they go It's sad, really.

Not to mention every player should be abusing hide as they travel around and scan quest areas.

Dan, it's a pretty bad gankfest right now, it's sort of hard to deny that. It's like if you combined Fury with WoW. And it's PvE up the ass. I was really hoping for a vastly competitve mmo, sort of like a GOOD version of GW GvG. Appears I purchased the wrong product
